Thank you for taking the time to give us an insight into your work. Why did you decide to do an apprenticeship with us at the Hotel St. Georg? Where does your passion for hospitality come from?

Adelina:

I decided to do an apprenticeship at the Hotel St. Georg because you are treated like part of our "little" family right from the start. You are welcomed with open arms. To be honest, I developed my passion for hospitality at the hotel. Making guests smile is now one of my favorite activities. Especially when you realize how happy you can make guests with little things, like remembering their names or wishing them a good morning/evening.

Helen:

I decided to train at the Hotel St.Georg because of the wide range of training opportunities and my passion for making guests at the Hotel St.Georg feel at ease and offering warm hospitality.

As apprentices in various areas, you have certainly already gained a lot of interesting experience. Is there anything in particular that has stuck in your mind?

Adelina:

Yes, I actually remember the photo shoot. I don't think I'll ever forget how the boss and I jumped into our pool.

Helen:

I particularly remember the excursions with the trainees and our bosses.

What do you particularly like about training at the Hotel St. Georg?

Adelina:

What I particularly like about the apprenticeship is that we are a small family, as already mentioned. You are given responsibility and can also work independently. The boss is not constantly looking over your shoulder, but you can work independently. I look forward to work every day because I know that there are always new challenges ahead of me.

Helen:

I particularly like the friendliness in the hotel and the opportunity to put a smile on people's faces.

In the hotel industry, you are constantly in close contact with guests. How do you master the challenge of fulfilling the various requests and wishes of guests? Do you have any tips for other trainees?

Adelina:

To master the challenge of fulfilling the various requests and wishes of guests, I always imagine how I would like to be treated on vacation. I put myself in the guests' shoes to make sure they feel comfortable.

Helen:

When it comes to fulfilling guests' various requests and wishes, it's important to put yourself in their shoes. After all, we all want to spend a relaxing vacation in a hotel.

Do you already have an idea of what you would like to do after your apprenticeship?

Adelina:

After my apprenticeship, I would like to become a hotel manager at some point.

Helen:

My goal is to become a hotel manager one day.
