OUR TOUR TIP FOR YOU: CHIEMSEE-CHIEMGAU TOUR

Starting point of the tour:
Bad Aibling

Destination of the tour:
Bad Aibling

Tour description
The tour takes you past Lake Simssee and Lake Chiemsee into the Chiemgau Alps and finally into the Inn Valley, before the tour ends in Bad Aibling.

Bad Aibling: Bavaria's oldest moorland spa has an attractive market square. The Bad Aibling thermal spa invites you to relax.

Rosenheim: Around Max-Josephs-Platz are the typical arcaded houses in the Art Nouveau and Wilhelminian style. There are numerous stores, cafés, pubs and restaurants in the lively city center. The city also has a lot to offer culturally - the Lokschuppen exhibition center, the Rosenheim Municipal Museum and the Inn Museum in the Bruckbaustadel am Inn are just a few examples. It is also home to the only state university for timber construction.Chiemsee: Bavaria's largest lake was formed during the last ice age from a glacier in front of the Alps. In winter, nasty storms sweep across the lake. The two idyllic islands of Herrenchiemsee and Frauenchiemsee are well worth a visit and are easily accessible with the Chiemsee boat trip.

Stage Nussdorf - Frasdorf: The highlight of this tour is winding, grippy, narrow, mountainous and with little traffic.

Along the tour, there are always opportunities to stop for refreshments in the picturesque villages of the Chiemsee-Alpenland region. The historic market square in Neubeuern, for example, is well worth a visit.
